Like the human mind, cast acrylic (Perspex) is malleable under the right conditions.

We respond to perceived external pressure, and react to stimuli on our psyche.

What are our motivations…maybe a search for personal meaning and Truth? 

Or more broadly, are our choices of reaction just survival tactics in our increasingly disassociated and anxiety provoking world of the ‘capitalocene’ - the label given by scholar Donna Haroway to describe the recent relentless consumerism in society.

These sculptural paintings reflect my ongoing interest in Psychology, ancient sacred geometry and the stirrings of personal anxiety within the collective unconscious.
