My heart is a moving picture

These works began as a series of drawings inspired by my echocardiogram scans, which resemble the topographic maps of a peculiar terrain that I have never traversed. Contemplating these throbbing images on the monitor connected to my body through the transducer, I felt melancholic and amazed. The tragedy and wonder of being born into a body. The exhibition is an attempt to understand how the body speaks to us, the inexpressibility of physical pain and the fantastic world inside.
