In RE-WORK, we delve into our community of artists and archive of exhibitors to present an exhibition of musings on history, labour, the handmade and repurposing. Each artist’s work is imbued with rich history as well as deeply important and personal representations of identity.
The traditional custodians of the lands and waters upon which AIRspace Projects operates today are the Gadigal and Wangal People of the Eora Nation, as it was and always will be Aboriginal Land. The building that now functions as AIRspace Projects was once used for garment manufacturing and was likely a sweatshop.
