Do you believe?

When you fear losing something, you start to see it anew. 

Do you believe? is an installation of photography, sculpture and video inspired by the incredible diversity and otherworldliness encountered but often overlooked in nature, and the fascination, wonder and sense of connection that it arouses. 

Close up photographs of fruit mush, a singing flower sculpture and a painting of orchids and fungi that resemble bodily organs appreciate the detail and overlapping patterns found in plant, animal and human body fragments. 

In a turbulent world the desire to be saturated in nature is keenly felt as an antidote to the prevailing alienation and despair. How do you cope with the angst that arises when the natural world is increasingly under threat? Amidst the wash of bleak climate news, I want to believe that positive change is possible and already happening, you just need to search for it.
