Forgotten Women

Cox pays tribute to the forgotten women throughout history, employing domestic materials such as embroidery, fabric, and cooking implements to honour these lost women. Female artists, mostly relegated to the depths of the past, are celebrated in textile pieces whilst the 'ordinary' women shine in collaged works. A sense of the past is evoked through the antique imagery and vintage artefacts to evoke the history of these women.
