Sea Symbionts

Sea Symbionts is an immersive exhibition comprised of latex coral sculptures, considering the crucial symbiotic relationship between coral and zooxanthellae algae. The installation responds to new scientific research concerning Moreton Bay coral decline through a collaboration between the artist and University of Queensland marine ecologists.
